Heritage Treasures Day

Today is National Lottery Heritage Fund #HeritageTreasures day - where we celebrate our 'Heritage Treasures' person!

Whilst there are many special people involved with the Trust, this year it just had to be DHBT Trustee, Peter Milner.

Peter has led the Wingfield Station project; devoting hours of his time and always going above and beyond to make the project a success! All this whilst working full time as well.

Huge thank you to Peter!

Collating these photos also made us remember the sponsored 90 mile cycle ride in August 2022 (from Leeds to Derby over 2 days).

Peter participated in this (and successfully completed the 90 miles plus some extra!), despite not being on a bike for a considerable number of years - exemplifying his true commitment to Wingfield and DHBT generally.
